Description: PowerSkate A – Tuesday Fall Session This session is NOT a learn-to-skate class. Skaters should be able to skate a full length of the ice forward with some speed, and a width of the ice backward. The program emphasizes excellent technique in forward and backward strides, stopping, starts, agility, balance, pivoting, and crossovers. In addition, the 10-week session includes cardio and strength conditioning to build overall skating performance. PowerSkate A is designed specifically for players in U7 through first-year U11 (Hockey Canada) and is also suitable for athletes who may not yet be on a hockey team but are ready to develop strong skating skills.
